Marine Full Honors Burial Services For Samuel W. Jackson, Jr. 11/20/2019

Samuel W. Jackson, Jr., Paoli native and Norristown resident, was putting some things in his car just before 6:30 pm. on Sunday night, November 10th when a driver struck him and then took off. Slippers, glasses and other belongings were seen scattered along the road..

He was 67. “Sam”, as he was affectionately called, was born February 6, 1952 in West Chester PA to the late Samuel Sr., and Bertha (Knight) Jackson.

Jackson, who was a Marine Corps veteran who served in Vietnam in 1970 and 1971 and was honorably discharged as a corporal.

His sister Peggy Jackson said “He loved his country. He honored his country,”

A full honors burial service took place on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
